Build what lasts.

Twenty-one residences on the south-west coast of Sumba.

Signature Estate
I · Why Sumba

South-west coast, first passes, April.

An island kept
intact.

Sumba, in the Lesser Sunda archipelago, lies between the Indian Ocean to the south and the Savu Sea to the north. The south-west coast, where PASOLA takes its place, has been left untouched by the transformations that reshaped its neighbors: a coastline intact, hills held in silence, a low and patient light.

The island distinguishes itself by what it has not seen. No mass tourism, no hotel rush. Its coast and its traditions have kept their own cadence: the equestrian Pasola, the stonework lineage, the woven hinggi.

Along this coast, the estate spans fifteen hectares. The current phase occupies about half of it : twenty-one residences, distributed across three distinct landscape zones. The remaining land is held under an independent program, outside the scope of this phase.

PASOLA · Issue 01 · May 2026 · Sumba

A lifetime of building,
one conviction.

Jennifer & Jonathan, founders of PASOLA

Before Sumba, fifteen years building around the world : state palaces, hotels, major projects. Time enough to learn what lasts. And what fades.

In parallel, twenty years across media and luxury brands, in seven Asian markets. Learning how a brand story holds, or doesn't, against a culture that isn't its own.

"An estate is not conceived as a product. It holds through time, it is passed on, it settles into the landscape rather than reshaping it."

Sumba was not a whim. It is a considered answer : where to build, for whom, and with what respect for the place. On the south-west coast, across fifteen hectares of contiguous land, PASOLA Signature Estate gives form to that conviction.
